Bomb Threat Evacuates Conroe County Annex Buildings

On Thursday, May 11, 2017 it was reported that officials evacuated Lee G. Alworth County Annex building and another county annex building in downtown Conroe due to a bomb threat.

Per the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, the threat has been stated to be related to the Lee G. Alworth building and a 911 caller around 8:30 a.m. stated they had information of something having a pipe bomb in a district court.

The Montgomery County Fire Marshal Office’s Bomb Squad Unit, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Bomb Squad Unit, Homeland Security, Conroe Police Department and the Montgomery County Office of Emergency Management are investigating the report and bomb threat.
