Arts in the Park presents Shakespeare in the Park

THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS – Arts in the Park features a live performance of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream with musical accompaniment by The Woodlands Symphony Orchestra at Rob Fleming Park on September 17, 2016 at dusk. Township residents are encouraged to enjoy a full day and evening of activities with family and friends at this free event in Rob Fleming Park, located at 6055 Creekside Forest Drive, The Woodlands, 77389, from 2 to 9 p.m. Arts in the Park will feature food trucks, a kids’ zone, local vendors selling original artwork, fun activities for children and entertaining stage performances.

Art vendor sales end at 6 p.m. the day of the event. The kids’ zone, featuring crafts and inflatables, will be available until 6 p.m. Concessions will be available for purchase until 9 p.m.

Arts in the Park supports and promotes the local artists and performers of the community. The fall 2016 Arts in the Park event features performances by Texas Brass, Let Them Drum, Mr. Cirque, The Woodlands Symphony Orchestra, UpStage Theatre and more.

6:40 p.m. – Texas Renaissance Festival Performers
7 p.m. – A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Upstage Theatre with musical accompaniment by The Woodlands Symphony Orchestra)
